Variant la naturalesa qu\u00edmica d&#8217;aquests dos compostos i la relaci\u00f3 entre tots dos, es poden obtenir diferents productes per a cobrir una \u00e0mplia gamma d&#8217;aplicacions en diferents sectors industrials, aix\u00ed com escuma flexible per al sector de l&#8217;autom\u00f2bil o per a la fabricaci\u00f3 de sof\u00e0s i matalassos, escuma r\u00edgida per plafons a\u00efllants tipus sandvitx, escuma integral per a soles de sabata o fins i tot en aplicacions com adhesius o elast\u00f2mers.<\/p>\n<p>A Concentrol disposem d&#8217;una \u00e0mplia gamma d&#8217;estabilitzants de silicona que cobreixen les necessitats particulars de cada fabricant per als diferents sistemes de poliuret\u00e0. En el present estudi s&#8217;avaluen diferents estabilitzants de silicona en un sistema de poliuret\u00e0 r\u00edgid, model utilitzat en la fabricaci\u00f3 de panells continus. En aquest cas s&#8217;ha centrat en dues de les caracter\u00edstiques m\u00e9s importants d&#8217;aquest tipus d&#8217;escuma, la seva baixa conductivitat t\u00e8rmica (valor de lambda) i la seva estabilitat dimensional, calculat com la relaci\u00f3 entre les forces de compressi\u00f3 en les direccions vertical i horitzontal de creixement de l&#8217;escuma.<\/p>\n<p>El m\u00e8tode de espumaci\u00f3 consisteix en una barreja manual de la formulaci\u00f3 poliol amb l&#8217;isocianat, sent els par\u00e0metres m\u00e9s importants:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparaci\u00f3 de la barreja de poliol, estabilitzant de silicona, catalitzadors i agent escumant amb agitador especial durant 15 segons a 2500 rpm.<\/li>\n<li>Els diferents reactius es mantenen a una temperatura de 25\u00baC.<\/li>\n<li>Addici\u00f3 de MDI i barreja durant 8 segons a 2500 rpm.<\/li>\n<li>Abocament de la mescla de reacci\u00f3 en un motlle de dimensions 30x30x20 cm, on es produeix el creixement lliure de l&#8217;escuma. La espumaci\u00f3 s&#8217;inicia a 25\u00baC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Primer assaig: densitat de l&#8217;espuma<\/u><\/p>\n<p>S&#8217;ha mesurat la densitat de l&#8217;espuma a les 24h de la espumaci\u00f3. El resultat \u00e9s el seg\u00fcent:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: 297px; width: 320px;\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/BocvAj8chRDAtsDhchKXd9Bj6eyM7ws-G0WpPW4PTlOuri03KT1bEuEB2OrOT07lhRyoBZ5OE2BwrjglaFwyp6vEty_CXCcA0ClX-dUlQA2gvL96BiU_zjzRcaAb7beJqhztwMvv\" \/><\/p>\n<p><u>Segon assaig: conductivitat t\u00e8rmica<\/u><\/p>\n<p>La conductivitat t\u00e8rmica va ser analitzada usant un sistema de mesurador de flux de calor NETZSCH model HFM 436 Lambda. La mida de les mostres \u00e9s de 300 mm X 300 mm de longitud de la base i 30mm de gruix.<\/p>\n<p>El sistema funciona segons les normes ASTM C 518, ISO 8301, DIN EN 12667, DIN EN 13163 i JIS A1412.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: 280px; width: 460px;\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/sunZ3TCeMxqBehh3SC-jCIPeOWaTMvV2BF4ke44Do6ejcFvU8cSfX4sjfElqQQRx02ucTtEpIHqL7cBtDF5txmLZCTNEdaCutTMs4SPSjt0O77OOEzL16opoUpyK_3MYfRgZ6v9Z\" \/><\/p>\n<p><u>Tercer assaig: estabilitat dimensional<\/u><\/p>\n<p>En aquest proc\u00e9s es mesura l&#8217;efecte de la compressi\u00f3 d&#8217;un 10% de l&#8217;escuma, en tall vertical i horitzontal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: 286px; width: 524px;\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/whx3P7y8t0V1tJB8e7lL6KYyUannN5ntkQA8OjQp9fXOnX55hV2VyrskWrmtfgnFICOhsFKkOm46z6ksD9ET5GmDiCJVSofa7myVrXtMOCMVsI08Bb1dzRihqey78uwF92HNbT07\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Quart assaig: Afectaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;envelliment en la conductivitat<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Les escumes s&#8217;han tornat a analitzar despr\u00e9s d&#8217;un proc\u00e9s d&#8217;envelliment. Les escumes es van mantenir durant un mes temperades a 20\u00baC, emmagatzemades sense el contacte de llum natural, i es va analitzar de nou el valor de la conductivitat t\u00e8rmica (lambda).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: 290px; width: 462px;\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/W7tgTZosomA1Emv0z-qTzuNfLKn-xJqkXdurNdkDgReLRebLJV1AySZdZ_CAjpyINb15Cph6heqZNNLEqr_r6OKj34jwULlBp-zglPxujindZvPVmq0nCvqedrn4sw-ug5dlfshR\" \/><\/p>\n<p><u>Cinqu\u00e8 assaig: Flu\u00efdesa de l&#8217;escuma<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Un cop seleccionades les espumes que presenten millors valors de conductivitat t\u00e8rmica, s&#8217;han avaluat tamb\u00e9 en un assaig model que simula la capacitat de fluir de la colada de poliuret\u00e0. Els estabilitzants de silicona incideixen en aquesta propietat, i aquest assaig permet analitzar aquest efecte. En aquest cas, el creixement lliure de l&#8217;escuma es desenvolupa dins d&#8217;un tub de pl\u00e0stic de 125 mm de di\u00e0metre. L&#8217;altura aconseguida per l&#8217;escuma est\u00e0 directament relacionada amb la flu\u00efdesa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: 184px; width: 334px;\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/c5Xg5_nfNQgucWSxPvfQ-6C-S18h71ZojK32ZiFknB8YnuWKVNNcPZHNnE_o1oBWnGy_xYyjMCSaafxSCozt7zshvHcHTR7uUNw-grAIhdnVX-1wPZ9lKka3Zvrl39bsGbsIzLwY\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Conclusions<\/u><\/p>\n<p>A la primera s\u00e8rie d&#8217;experiments es van identificar 3 estabilitzants, Concentrol STB PU-2242, STB PU-2285 i STB PU-2245B els valors de lambda s\u00f3n els m\u00e9s baixos de tots els candidats.<\/p>\n<p>Pel que fa a l&#8217;estabilitat dimensional, Concentrol STB PU-2242 obt\u00e9 el millor valor. Tots els candidats estan lluny del coeficient ideal (1) a causa de les grans difer\u00e8ncies entre la for\u00e7a de compressi\u00f3 vertical i l&#8217;horitzontal.<\/p>\n<p>Pel que fa al valor de lambda envellida, el millor resultat s&#8217;obt\u00e9 amb l&#8217;estabilitzant Concentrol STB PU-2285. En tots els casos els valors envellits s\u00f3n pitjors que els valors inicials, comportament coincident amb l&#8217;habitual en el sector.<\/p>\n<p>Concloem que 3 de nostres estabilitzants de silicona, Concentrol STB PU-2242, STB PU-2285 i STB PU-2245B s\u00f3n els millors candidats.<\/p>\n<p>Des de Concentrol considerem que aquest tipus d&#8217;estudis i proves s\u00f3n clau per
