The British standard Crib V (BS 5852) establishes strict fire resistance criteria for upholstered furniture, evaluating its behaviour against different sources of ignition. In this context, silicone surfactants play a critical role in the formulation of safe and efficient polyurethane foams.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>SPECIAL CRIB V FOAM TEST<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Silicone surfactants not only influence foam stability and cell uniformity , but also have a significant impact on fire resistance.<\/li>\n<li>In recent tests carried out with standard fire resistance formulations, incorporating our latest generation silicone surfactant, CONCENTROL STB PU 3244-K, we obtained very good performance results against Crib V standard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/concentrol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Crib-V-Test.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-165956\" src=\"https:\/\/concentrol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Crib-V-Test.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hosting175685eu-cp704.wordpresstemporal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Crib-V-Test.png 700w, https:\/\/hosting175685eu-cp704.wordpresstemporal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Crib-V-Test-300x266.png 300w, https:\/\/hosting175685eu-cp704.wordpresstemporal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Crib-V-Test-350x310.png 350w, https:\/\/hosting175685eu-cp704.wordpresstemporal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Crib-V-Test-600x531.png 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Board 1<\/strong>. Crib V (BS 5852) test results for CONCENTROL STB PU-3244 K<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When using the Crib V ignition source, &#8220;progressive slow burn failure&#8221; is considered to be any composite material that produces externally detectable amounts of spoke 60 minutes after ignition of the crib.
