Concentrol\u2019s role is essential in bringing the project\u2019s technological developments into an industrial setting, assessing performance, reliability and practical applicability.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1573\">MELODIZER is based on a <strong data-start=\"1241\" data-end=\"1320\">new membrane distillation technology incorporating nano-engineered elements<\/strong>, designed to enhance the efficiency of industrial water treatment processes. This technology enables the <strong data-start=\"1426\" data-end=\"1494\">reuse of more than 90% of the water used in industrial processes<\/strong>, reducing contaminant loads and supporting more sustainable production models.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"2017\">The project is coordinated by the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Politecnico di Torino<\/span><\/span> and brings together European partners from industry, technology and research. Its objectives include the development of <strong data-start=\"1767\" data-end=\"1830\">sustainable industrial solutions through advanced materials<\/strong>, support for the <strong data-start=\"1848\" data-end=\"1884\">European zero pollution strategy<\/strong>, and the <strong data-start=\"1894\" data-end=\"1941\">reduction of the industrial water footprint<\/strong>, in line with EU sustainability and natural resource conservation policies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2019\" data-end=\"2485\">At the end of January, a delegation of technical experts from several European companies visited the <strong data-start=\"2120\" data-end=\"2159\">pilot plant installed at Concentrol<\/strong> to review the project\u2019s progress and observe the system operating in a real industrial environment. The visit was also attended by the representative of the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">European Commission<\/span><\/span> and Project Officer, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Vasiliki Stergiopoulou<\/span><\/span>, further highlighting Concentrol\u2019s role within the European consortium.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2487\" data-end=\"2804\">Concentrol\u2019s participation as an industrial pilot in MELODIZER underlines its commitment to <strong data-start=\"2579\" data-end=\"2607\">technological innovation<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2609\" data-end=\"2638\">industrial sustainability<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"2644\" data-end=\"2701\">active involvement in European collaborative projects<\/strong>, contributing to the advancement of efficient and
