Concentrol has recently been featured in Alimarket, a leading Spanish source of economic and sector-specific business information, in an article covering the expansion of the company’s facilities in Riudellots de la Selva, Girona.
Founded in 1982, Alimarket provides specialised information on companies and markets across different areas of the economy. Its content is primarily aimed at executives and business professionals and covers sectors including FMCG, food, logistics, packaging, construction, hospitality and healthcare.
Concentrol’s appearance in this specialised publication highlights the company’s development and the importance of this expansion in strengthening its logistics capacity and supporting its growth.
A strategic expansion for Concentrol
Under the headline “Concentrol adds new logistics infrastructure to its facilities”, Alimarket outlines the main aspects of the project currently being carried out at Concentrol’s headquarters.
The expansion represents an investment of approximately €2.5 million and will add 4,760 m² to the company’s existing facilities. Of this additional space, around 2,800 m² will be allocated to a new warehouse with an estimated capacity of between 2,900 and 3,000 pallets.
The new infrastructure will also include five loading bays, helping to streamline the movement of goods, improve truck loading and unloading operations and optimise the distribution of internal spaces.
These improvements will help Concentrol respond to the growth of its operations while continuing to strengthen the efficiency and reliability of the service provided to customers across different sectors and international markets.
Growth and energy efficiency
The Alimarket article also highlights that the roof of the new building will incorporate a photovoltaic installation. This will help increase Concentrol’s on-site electricity consumption from renewable sources and support the company’s energy-efficiency objectives.
The project is being carried out by the engineering company Egein under a turnkey engineering and construction model. Completion of the new building is scheduled for October 2026, with the entire infrastructure expected to be fully operational during the first half of 2027.
The publication also places the investment within the context of Concentrol’s recent development. In 2025, the company recorded €36 million in revenue, representing an increase of 12.6% compared with the previous year. Concentrol currently has a portfolio of more than 500 products used in industrial processes across different sectors.
